Max received his undergraduate degree Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University in chemical engineering with a minor in business management. He has four years of experience in the CPG industry working on upstream product development and lean innovation. During his time in the CPG industry, Max developed fluid models across multiple product lines to enable cost reduction, sustainability initiatives, and virtual product integration. Max also conducted life cycle assessments across a wide array of packaging while implementing the first known impact category to account for material leakage into the environment (i.e. litter and other sources of plastic into the environment). During the development of the material leakage category, Max discovered the fact that formed CLEANR – our clothing is the single largest point source of microplastic into the environment.
