Zee has served as a trusted advisor to international companies on cross-border issues across a diverse range of industries. Zee practiced law at O’Melveny & Myers LLP and represented clients in a wide range of business transactions, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings of Chinese firms in the US markets, private equity fund formation, and venture capital investments. Zee has a BA in Economics, with high honors, from Swarthmore College, and a JD from Columbia Law School. He was a senior editor of the Columbia Law Review. Zee is a licensed New York attorney, a licensed U.S. Customs broker, and is fluent in Mandarin.

A former Vice Chairman of Ernst & Young and CEO of investment banks, consulting firms and
commercial enterprises, Steve has been a successful consulting, operating and financial
executive for over forty years. At Ernst & Young, he had an extensive career specializing in
Corporate Finance and Consulting. Among many other roles in the firm, he was the co-founder
of the firm’s Center for Strategic Transactions, an accelerated solutions environment designed to
engage senior executives and align stakeholder priorities.
Prior to joining Ambershore, Steve was the Chief Executive Officer of Sabre Companies, as well
as its affiliates in the energy and agricultural sectors. Prior to joining Sabre, he was Partner and
Managing Director of an investment and consulting firm, where he provided strategic consulting
to executives and foreign governments and negotiated equity positions in a broad portfolio of
companies, as well as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of a boutique investment bank
specializing in corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring. In his
role at Ambershore, he works closely with corporate clients on the development of sustainability
strategies, including the realization of value through internal processes, external communication,
and the linkage to business strategies.
